Table tennis, also known as ping pong, is a sport in which two or four players hit a lightweight ball back and forth across a table using a small bat or paddle. The game takes place on a hard table divided by a net.
Jose Marti MAST 6-12 Academy sponsors for the 3rd year a Table Tennis Club for high school students. Professional rules of play will be taught to the students by the club president who plays competitively in the State of Florida. The club’s purpose is to provide our students with the opportunity to participate in a challenging, fast-paced athletic contest, to learn about trajectories and geometric angles, as well as foster a sense of membership solidarity and fellowship.
