Delsabriana Gonzalez, Florida State University (CARE Program), Graduated Spring 2019
Major: Environmental Science and Biology with a Minor in Art History
Career Goals: I am currently a graduate student at University of Miami's Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science working on my masters regarding the symbiosis of coral reefs in correlation to the bleaching. I want to work at a government agency like National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) or Rescue a Reef on projects that seek to restore coral reefs.
Biggest surprise about the college experience: How fast it all goes by!
Accomplishment most proud of: As an undergrad, I was very involved on campus and worked in student government, specifically as a senator and a secretary for the Hispanic Latino Student Union throughout my three years at FSU.
Can you provide any advice to our current Knights? Scholarships are out there so don't be afraid to apply because you don't lose anything. Also, get involved at school. It's not only important to colleges, but to your overall self-development as you will belong to something you care about.
I paid for college with…: the CARE program. I was lucky enough to find about this from Mr. Milian which offered me a full ride to attend Florida State!
High School Graduation Date: June 1, 2016
