The Spectrum Club is a support group and activism club designed to give all students a place to be themselves. The purpose of Spectrum is to promote acceptance, diversity, and understanding inclusive of, but not limited to, the LGBTQ+ student body and their supporters. Members of Spectrum meet monthly to discuss topics such as bullying, human rights, and other issues which affect teens. This year, members of Spectrum are working to raise money for a charity. The Trevor Project is the nation’s leading organization that provides crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth.
