The Green Club seeks to empower students by increasing environmental awareness and instilling a sense of community stewardship towards the world in which we live. Green Club members maintain the Jose Marti MAST Native Arboretum, research and maintain rare native orchids in our shade house, maintain our botany lab, coordinate our school’s recycling program, host our annual Earth Day celebration, and more! green Club members also participate in the Fairchild Challenge, an annual interdisciplinary competition for our middle and high school students sponsored by Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden.
